Compilation of the Competent Authorities, Technical Services and type approved Engines according to the relevant international regulations relating to measures against the emission of gaseous and particulate pollutants from internal combustion engines for inland waterway vessels in Europe

The following lists are compiled and updated by the competent authorities of member states of the Central Commission for the Navigation of the Rhine and other states. These lists relate to chapter 8a of the Rhine Vessel Inspection Regulation, to Directive 97/68/EC on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to measures against the emission of gaseous and particulate pollutants from internal combustion engines to be installed in non-road mobile machinery and to directive 2006/87/EG laying down technical requirements for inland waterway vessels.
The correctness and faultlessness of these lists cannot be guaranteed. The lists are exclusively published for internal information of the competent authorities of the member states of the Central Commission for the Navigation of the Rhine. In particular this compilation does not raise any claim of completeness to engine manufacturers, dealers or buyers. The lists shall neither be used for advertising nor for other marketing purposes.
